Flamingo Crossings Adds New Retail Stores
The Flamingo Crossings Town Center (cover photo: The Walt Disney Co.) is the much anticipated retail and dining project that will be located in West Orange County. Walt Disney World has already announced that the center will include a 250,000 square foot retail hub with over 50 storefronts.
Already Announced Retail
The developers have already announced a Target anchor store, PDQ, Five Guys, Ben and Jerry’s and more. According to a Disney press release the new stores will join these already existing brands.
“These brands will join a stellar lineup of previously announced shops and restaurants including Target, which will serve as the primary anchor, PDQ, Five Guys, Ben & Jerry’s and Dunkin’. Walgreens is also currently under construction on an outparcel” (Disney)
New Stores and Restaurants
Nine new tenants were announced by Disney today: Wendy’s, Five Below, Dominos, Ellie Lou’s Brews and BBQ, Firehouse Sub, Persimmon Hollow Brewing Co, Pieology Pizzeria, Gyu-Kaku Japanese, and a UPS store. Several of these are slated to open in 2021.
Hotels
There were also several hotels announced to be in development. These will total around 2,000 rooms and include some well-known hotel chains. Marriott and Hilton both will have several hotels including Fairfield and Residence Inns (Marriott) and Hampton (Hilton).
The project is being overseen by Doradus Partner out of Huntsville, Alabama and previously made the following statement: “We are extremely excited to be bringing a very unique hospitality offering at Flamingo Crossings Town Center. The combination of this fantastic location, well known and established flags, enhanced amenities and high-quality construction will make for a first-class experience for our guests who are seeking a value-based lodging experience near one of main entrances to the Walt Disney World Resort. ”
