Magic Kingdom to Test Happily Ever After Fireworks Spectacular Next Week
Is this a sign of the imminent return of fireworks in the Magic Kingdom? While nothing is official yet, we can report that the Magic Kingdom will be testing Happily Ever After next week!
WDWMagic.com is reporting that testing of the iconic Magic Kingdom fireworks spectacular, Happily Ever After, will occur on Monday might after the Parks closes to Guests. When fireworks testing usually occurs, Guests staying at Resorts in the immediate area made aware ahead of time with a notification placed in their rooms and in the lobby.
It is not uncommon for Disney to test their iconic fireworks shows. Just a few months ago, fireworks testing occurred at EPCOT for either EPCOT Forever or the all-new HarmonioUS. We were all hoping that shortly after the fireworks testing at EPCOT occurred we would hear a date when fireworks would be back in the Parks but, unfortunately, we are still waiting. However, many online rumors indicate that we might see some fireworks at EPCOT in the first part of 2021.
The Happily Ever After fireworks spectacular first debuted back at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World on May 12, 2017. It was offered nightly until the Walt Disney World Theme Parks closed back in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Happily Ever After Fireworks Spectacular is hands down my favorite fireworks show of all time. With the projection mapping on Cinderella Castle, the storytelling from some Disney’s most popular movies, and breathtaking soundtrack, you might be in tears by the time its over.
Make sure to keep it here with MickeyBlog.com as we bring you the latest developments surrounding this breaking story. And, when Walt Disney World officially confirms that fireworks are back at the Parks, including Happily Ever After in the Magic Kingdom, you can count on us to be the first to report it!
