It’s Beginning To Look Alot Like Christmas Across All of Disney World’s Theme Parks
It’s officially the Holiday Season at Walt Disney World and over the next few days the theme parks will be unwrapping all sorts of awesome offerings. If you’ve been following along with MickeyBlog you’ll know that we’ve given you a taste the Magic Kingdom celebrations today. But before we call it a night we thought we’d briefly share how ALL of Walt Disney World will be ringing in the Holiday Season!
Magic Kingdom Park
The festivities at Magic Kingdom this year includes some pretty impressive character cavalcades features Mickey, Disney Princesses and even Santa! These spontaneous mini parades really bring the holiday spirit throughout the day at the Magic Kingdom.
Also be on the lookout for the Holiday Trolley which is bringing the festive harmonies this holiday season from the Dapper Dans! You may even see some Toy Soldiers joining in with the Main Street Philharmonic when they march down Main Street playing their merry melodies!
And as the sun sets, a festive look returns to Cinderella Castle with projection effects that produce a kaleidoscope of designs from a whimsical Christmas sweater look to a jeweled winter castle!
Animal Kingdom
The Animal Kingdom will once again be “wowing” with its seasonal decor and festive flotillas that will feature favorite Disney characters sailing down the Discovery River.
Donald’s Dino Bash Festive Flotilla will take to the water with character friends that will wave to everyone as they pass by! Be on the lookout for Chip ‘n’ Dale, the Discover Island Drummers and even Santa Claus!
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Speaking of visits from Santa, visitors to Hollywood Studios will get their own special visit from jolly old St. Nick. He will be bringing a bit of old school glitz and glamour down Hollywood Boulevard led by an entourage of elves! Look for him in his red convertible jam-packed with presents!
Also, just in time for the festive season, For The First Time In Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration which can serve as a festive finale complete with singing snowman Olaf and celebratory songs for the season.
Then, when the sun sets all eyes will be fixed on the Hollywood Tower Hotel on Sunset Boulevard where projective effects will magically transform it into the Hollywood Holiday Tower Hotel. Watch as it morphs between a Muppet’s gingerbread masterpiece, a Toy Story hotel, a snow corner of Arendelle and a Dickensian village inspired by Mickey’s Christmas Carol!
Disney Springs
We also can’t forget Disney World’s downtown shopping district! Beginning tomorrow (November 7th) the area will transform into a winter wonderland full of dazzling lights, enchanting decor and holiday surprises. We can’t think of a better place to pick up those special Disney gifts!
Guests can also take a break from your holiday shopping to enjoy the Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll which is presented by AdventHealth. Here you’ll be able to marvel add an eclectic array of Disney-themed trees appearing throughout the shopping, dining and entertainment district. There will also be music-playing DJs during the day, and and at night fun entertainment like stilt-walking toy soldiers, skating snowflakes and even a magical snowfall!
Santa and Mrs. Claus will also be paying a visit to Disney Springs this year where later in November you’ll be able to see them relaxing in Orlando before the “big night.” You’ll find them taking to the waters of Lake Buena Vista to extend their Christmas wishes while on their colorfully decorated pontoon boat.
