BREAKING NEWS: Military Flyover Happening at Walt Disney World This Thursday
If you’re lucky enough to be visiting Walt Disney World this work week they you may be in for a special treat on Thursday October, 27, 2022. Disney took to their Cast and Community website to announce that the U.S Air Force Thunderbirds will be flying over the Magic Kingdom park!
You can check out their official post below:
The statement reads, ‘As part of Disney’s enduring respect for those who serve in the military and their families, we are hosting a flyover over Magic Kingdom park by the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds flight demonstration team.”
Two passes will happen this Thursday. The Thunderbirds will do two passes over the Magic Kingdom at 9:30 am. The flyover will culminate in their famous delta maneouver where they fly over Cinderella Castle, accelerating rapidly in different directions with jet trails that are nothing short of stunning.
Thunderbird flyovers have happened at Walt Disney World before and they are nothing short of awe-inspiring and emotional. The last one that we covered in MickeyBlog was back in October of 2020.
The event kicks off National Veterans and Militaries Families Month in November. This is a story that we will continue to follow closely and we promise to keep you posted.
Readers are encouraged to keep following along with MickeyBlog for further Walt Disney World news and updates. We’ll be coming to you LIVE! from the theme parks each and every week.
