What Happened To Roy And Minnie?
If you’ve been following along with MickeyBlog you know that yesterday we shared with you images of the Christmas decoration going up at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
It looks like similar plans are afoot over at the Magic Kingdom.
We popped by the theme park yesterday and noticed that the Roy Disney & Minnie Mouse statue has been removed from its usual spot at the start of Main Street USA.
But don’t be alarmed. This is the location that is usually reserved for the theme parks towering Christmas Tree.
Unlike Hollywood Studios it’s unlikely that we’ll see Christmas decorations come up early at the Magic Kingdom.
However, that doesn’t mean that Disney’s little Christmas elves aren’t busy after hours getting ready for this year’s Yuletide celebrations.
And thankfully, Roy and Minnie still occupy a spot in their beloved Magic Kingdom garden.
They’re just off to the side a wee bit.
One of the things that the Magic Kingdom theme park is famous for is how quickly they transition from Halloween to Christmas.
The spooky season will be in full swing until the park closes tomorrow (October 31st) and we guarantee that by the time guests arrive at the Magic Kingdom on November 1st it will be starting to look alot like Christmas.
Readers are encouraged to keep following along with MickeyBlog where we’ll be coming to you LIVE! from Walt Disney World over the weekend.
And if you still want that magical shot with Roy and Minnie don’t worry.
You’ll still find them keeping a space just for you on their iconic park bench.
However, instead of a view of Cinderella Castle they’re sitting in front of City Hall.
