Opening Day of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Remembered
So much has happened over the past year that it is so hard believe that Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge first opened to visitors at Disney’s Hollywood Studios one year ago! This out-of-this-world new land officially welcomed guests a year ago this past Saturday! That makes this week a great time to focus on the positive and recall some of the incredible things you can do at this fully immersive Star Wars Experience.
Let’s start with the image above. Do you remember the first time that saw the Millennium Falcon?
Or strolled through the incredible shops found at Black Spire Outpost?
There’s nothing quite like building your own astromechs in the Droid Depot or fashioning a Lightsaber in Sa’vi’s Workshop!
While strolling through the grounds, it’s hard not to to feel “The Force.”
You never know what treasures you’ll find in the shops. One of our favorite places to look for unique items is Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities!
And you never know who might turn up like Kylo Ren who comes out at Docking Bay 9 from time to time to look for recruits..
Rey and Chewbacca may even encourage you to join the Resistance.
And lurking in the shadows is Vi Moradi who is trying to evade the First Order Stormtroopers.
There are photo ops galore including this one in front of the the landspeeders!
There so many incredible sights to take in both big and small.
You really will feel like you’ve walked right into a scene of one of your favorite Star Wars films.
And don’t forget to bring your appetites to sample some of the local cuisine or perhaps even a glass of blue (or green) milk!
