Check Out This 360 Video of the Chess Room Aboard the Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run
Boy, do we have a special treat this Tuesday for all you Star Wars fans anxiously awaiting the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. We are just mere weeks away from the official Disneyland opening of this magnificent expansion featuring awesome merchants, out of this world eats and of course a chance to get behind the wheel of the iconic Millennium Falcon in the brand new state-of-the-art Smuggler’s Run attraction.
To whet your whistle, Disney has just released a 360° Video giving you first look at the inside of the Millennium Falcon. During your ride on Smuggler’s Run guests will have an opportunity to tour the ship including a walk through the iconic Chess Room which you will no doubt remember from the films. Take a look!
Simply move the mouse around the image above to get a first look at how this area of the ship will appear to guests riding the Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run when it opens to guests on May 31st at Disneyland Resort followed by an August 29th opening at Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World.
During this epic journey, guests will have the opportunity to climb aboard the most legendary ship in the galaxy and chart a course for an awesome intergalactic adventure! Visitors will be able to ride in the famous cockpit with every member of your group having a role to play including pilot, engineer or gunner! You’ll feel the engines rumble as the Millennium Falcon blasts off, pushing you and your crew back into your seats when you jump to hyperspace! You’ll want to stay alert though because there is danger around every turn. Your success or failure will also have an impact on other elements of your Galaxy’s Edge experience and will alter the course of your destiny!
