VIDEO: This Week! In Star Wars, Star Wars Show
Do you get Sunday night anxiety? Me too. And when I get anxious, Star Wars is my salve of choice.
Thankfully, this week (when we are missing Star Wars Celebration) we got TWO, that’s right TWO special webisodes from Lucasfilm and StarWars.com – This Week! In Star Wars and The Star Wars Show.
Celebrating Celebration

And BOTH shows focused on memories of this year’s cancelled convention:
The Star Wars Show | A Celebration of Star Wars Celebration!
This month on The Star Wars Show, we take a look back at some rare Star Wars Celebration moments from the past including George Lucas teasing Star Wars: The Clone Wars at his first Celebration, Dave Filoni giving a first look at Star Wars Rebels, and Jon Stewart chatting with George Lucas, Mark Hamill, and Carrie Fisher. Plus, we get a first look at some brand new Star Wars Celebration exclusive merchandise.
Star Wars Celebration Merchandise, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Gets Animated, and More!
This week in Star Wars, we check out the new exclusive Star Wars Celebration merchandise, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge gets animated on Star Wars Kids, and we get excited for all the Star Wars games news coming out of Gamescom Opening Night Live. Plus, we celebrate Kenny Baker’s birthday.
There’s so much to see above, but — for my money — the real must-see-YT is George Lucas at Star Wars Celebration 2005.
And George had some excellent advice for all who love pop culture; especially Star Wars.

“Star Wars is something to enjoy – and take away what you can from it,” said Lucas from Indianapolis 15-years-ago. “Maybe it will help you in your lives, but don’t let it take over your lives.
“I mean, that’s what they all say about Trekkies [reacting to the crowd]. I know, Star Wars fans don’t do that. [Applause]
“But the point of the movie is to get on with your lives,” he added, seriously.
To take that challenge. To leave your uncle’s moisture farm… go out into the world and change it and save the universe.”
Amen.
