Official NBA Referees March Against Racism in Support of Players at Disney’s Coronado Springs
As we reported, the NBA postponed yesterday’s Playoff games at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Walt Disney World after players boycotted the games over the Jacob Blake shooting and support of racial equality. Today, the Official NBA Referees showed their support of the players by arranging a march against racism at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.
Please stand with us at 9 ET this morning as we march against racism and grieve for the black lives taken too soon. Join us as we unite in the bubble, and around the world, to fight injustice and police brutality. #EverybodyvsRacism@NBA @TheNBPA

NBA players and referees have been vocal supporters of the Black Lives Matter movement as the season restarted last month at Walt Disney World. “Black Lives Matter” is painted on the courts inside the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex and players have been invited to list statements in support of racial equality on their jerseys.
Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort is one of the now two Walt Disney World Resort Hotels players are staying at in the Bubble. The Resort is considered the hub for everything in the Bubble and also houses league officials as well as the referees involved in today’s march.
Yesterday evening, a players-only meeting was held to discuss the future of the NBA season. It has been reported the both the Los Angeles Clippers and Lakers voted to end the season after a preliminary vote. Players are also demanding more from NBA owners to promote racial equality and police reform.
Online reports indicate that NBA owners are meeting this morning to make plans for the rest of the season. Nothing official has been announced yet from either side.
As the NBA Referees continue to march in support of the players, make sure to keep it here with MickeyBlog.com on all the latest coming out of this situation developing in the NBA Bubble at Walt Disney World.
