All NBA Playoff Games Postponed in Protest over Jacob Blake Shooting
In a historical moment, the NBA Playoff games scheduled for this evening have been postponed in protest. The Milwaukee Bucks and Orlando Magic walked off the NBA courts at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Walt Disney World with less than five minutes before what would have been Game 5 of the first round of the Eastern Conference Playoff Series. The players of the Bucks met before the game was to start to say that they would boycott the game and the Orlando Magic organization later agreed to do the same

The protest is in response to the recent Jacob Blake shooting in Kenosha, Wisconsin. After it was announced that the first NBA Playoff game of the day was going to be postponed, it was then confirmed that the Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Houston Rockets game and the Portland Trail Blazer vs. the Los Angeles game would also follow suit.
The latest update coming from Orlando is that players will be meeting at 8:00 pm to discuss the next steps. There are even rumors going around stating that the rest of the NBA Playoffs might be in jeopardy.

The NBA and its players are staunch supporters of the Black Lives Matter moment. The courts at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex have Black Lives Matter painted on them and since the season has restarted, NBA Players were permitted to list phrases of racial equality on the backs of their jerseys.
Since the boycott/protest began with the Bucks/Magic game, several players, including LeBron James and Donovan Mitchell, have posted on social media demanding change.
