Let’s Take A Virtual Ride On The AquaDuck
Because let’s face it- it may be a while before your next cruise and if you’re missing the water like we are here at MickeyBlog HQ then we’ve got just the remedy! If you’ve been following along with us then you know that Disney has an amazing series of Ride & Learn videos that take us for a trip on some of Disney’s world-renowned attractions while teaching us some interesting fun facts.
We’ve shared roller coasters, taken you on an “it’s a small world” boat trip and so much more. But let’s not forget that the attractions aren’t just limited to the theme parks! The AquaDuck, a waterslide that you’ll find on the pool deck of the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy are super special in their own right!
The ride, which was developed by Disney Imagineers, is an exhilarating water coaster that takes riders on a wet and wild journey up, down and around (not to mention off the side of the ship.) A highlight is the Forward Funnel, a 4-deck drop! Sounds pretty spectacular right!? Well see for yourselves!
If the video above has you think about sailing the seas with Disney Cruise Line then its important to know that sailings are currently available through 2021! This means that you can start planning the magic now but can save your sailing for a time when you’re ready to travel again! Best of all, Disney Cruise Line’s rates are cheaper the further out you book making this a perfect time to nab yourselves a bargain!
