Talk About A Wrong Turn, Car at Wilderness Lodge Tries To Drive Down the Stairs
This is what I would call a “not-so-magical” morning at Walt Disney World Resort. Reports are coming in this morning that someone took a wrong turn at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and tried to drive down the stairs that lead guests from the entryway of the resort down to the parklot lot. Unfortunately the car didn’t get very far before getting completely stuck.
So apparently someone thought stairs were for cars at Wilderness Lodge 🤷🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ pic.twitter.com/a11X0iDwQB

Above is a tweet shared by a guest visitor to Wilderness Lodge this morning. Here you can see the white car clearly wedged on the stairway.
Finished breakfast and it’s still there this is why we can’t have nice things! pic.twitter.com/RfToTpIqol

Here’s one more offering a clearer look at the incident. This one shows the car from a slightly different angle. The first is take from the top of the stars underneath the covered archway. The second is taken at the bottom of the stairs.

Though its hard to predict exactly what led to this unusual jam, we suspect the driver mistook the steps for a ramp and was trying to make a shortcut. The incident occured this morning so we hope by this point the car has been freed and the driver is on their way with minimal damage.
