Disney Sends Email Acknowledging They Made An Error
Recently, an email was sent by Disney confirming resort reservations and vacation packages for Disney guests. The problem? These guests were not currently booked for a vacation package.
The email they received welcomed them and instructed them to “Get Ready to do the Parks!” It went on to provide them with instructions on how to make park reservations through the new park reservation system.
It reads, “We are so excited to finally share our small worlds and big thrills. And can’t wait to hear you “Let it go” and shout Yo Ho. The magic is here along with a few new ways to bring it to you.”
The email also directed guests to the “Know Before You Go” page outlining all of the new safety precautions and health guidelines. “We can all do our part to save the day and look out for the well-being of our fellow Guests and Cast Members. Please be sure that everyone in your party is aware of these tips for an incredible vacation.”
Guests receiving this email were definitely informed. The email outlined everything someone heading to Disney would need to know. But, they did not have any current reservations, so there was some confusion.
Today, Disney sent another email acknowledging the mistake.
With all of the planning and changing Disney has experienced recently, it is understandable mistakes can happen. And, really, a surprise trip to Disney would not have been a bad thing. But, don’t be too disappointed if you were a recepient of one of these “Error” emails. There is plenty of time to visit the parks since Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom will reopen this week.
