New Hollywood Tower Hotel Bench Wraps Add Tower of Terror Theming To Sunset Boulevard
While Disney’s Hollywood Studios is largely known as the home of Star Wars these days, if you ask me, the heart of the park still resides on Sunset Boulevard.
Ever since the loss of The Great Movie Ride, Sunset Boulevard became the most authentically Hollywood area of the Studios. In a park that is becoming more and more disparate, Sunset Boulevard is a haven of interconnectivity and theming.

Just when I thought I couldn’t like Sunset Boulevard any better, the land debuted new bench wraps with a Hollywood Tower Hotel theme.
New Hollywood Tower Hotel Bench Wrap
The new beach wraps pay tribute to the golden age of the Hollywood Tower Hotel. Long before the mysterious lightning strike, the hotel was a bustling lodging place full of glitz and glamor.
In beautiful art-deco style, the first new bench wrap shows a glamourous couple and their porter arriving at the hotel’s courtyard.
The caption on the image reads “It’s a Good Life at the Hollywood Tower Hotel”.
The Tip-Top Club
The second new wrap dives further into the Hollywood Tower Hotel’s backstory and advertises the Tip-Top Club.
For those who don’t know, the Tip-Top Club was a nightclub that was exclusive to the Hollywood Tower Hotel and its guests.
According to an advertisement in the lobby, the orchestra that performed at the club was led by Anthony Freemont.
This new wrap reads “Disappear into the night at the Tip-Top Club” above an image of deboner patrons dancing and drinking at the club.
Looking closely, you can even see Anthony Freemont leading his orchestra!
The Disney Difference
While these new bench wraps may seem unimportant, this is the kind of details and story-building that Disney has previously been known for.
It’s great to see Disney expanding the story of the Tower of Terror in small and unique ways, and further inter-connecting all of Sunset Boulevard!
