Disney’s Vero Beach Resort & Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort To Reopen This Month
Some more good news to pass along! Disney’s Vacation Club Beach Properties – Disney’s Vero Beach Resort and Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort will reopen to Guests beginning June 15, 2020.
Upon the reopening of both Disney’s Vero Beach Resort and Disney’s Hilton Head Resort, several health and safety measures have been implemented. These include steps you can take from home before your arrival; new housekeeping procedures; modified menus and seating capacity at food and beverage locations; changes to Resort activities; and socially distanced pool decks and amenities.
Just like at Walt Disney World, all Guests at Disney’s Vero beach Resort and Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort will be required to wear face coverings if you are 2 and older.
Here is what you can expect on your next visit to either Resort:
- Pre-arrival steps for Guests: To promote physical distancing and avoid delays, we strongly recommend that Members and Guests use our Online Check-in service to go directly to their room using the My Disney Experience app. If Members are feeling ill, it may not be the right time to travel.
- Housekeeping, cleanliness and sanitization:
- Enhanced cleaning of all rooms prior to arrival, including additional measures for dishware and appliances for Disney Vacation Club units, along with the standard Disney Vacation Club housekeeping services during your stay.
- We’ve increased cleaning and sanitization in high traffic areas such as public elevators and escalators, handrails, benches, tables, handles, restrooms, and more. Additionally, hand sanitizer locations will be located throughout each Resort and Guests are highly encouraged to use these while visiting.
- Each Resort Cast Member will be trained on safety measures, procedures and changes in their area, helping further emphasize our strong culture of health and safety.
- Physical distancing and capacity measures: There are spaces where we will limit the number of Members, Guests and Cast Members at any given time, including restaurants, pool decks and fitness centers. Our Cast Members will be there to assist you, while also helping to ensure physical distancing guidelines are maintained.
- Temporary modifications to our amenities:
- Restaurants and quick-service dining locations will be available in each of our Disney Resort hotels, though our menus and operating hours may be adjusted. Guests are also encouraged to use our convenient mobile order service, where available.
- Members and Resort Guests are also welcome to enjoy our pools and recreation offerings, which may operate a little differently during this time.
