Boba Fett Returns? Mark Hamill’s Confused, Too
A few weeks back, news spread that Temuera Morrison would return to the Star Wars franchise via Boba Fett.
Yes, the same Boba Fett who “died” at the end of Return of the Jedi.
Boba Fett Returns?
Our coverage of the original scoop is below:
The Mandalorian: Temuera Morrison Returns To Star Wars As Boba Fett
Furthermore, if that headline left you scratching your head, you have some elite company.
“I thought he was a decade into getting digested at this point,” said Mark Hamill to Ash Crossan of Entertainment Tonight.
Mark’s a Fan of The Mandalorian
No matter, however. Hamill is a fan of The Mandalorian.
“My son said you have to watch The Mandalorian and I think it’s great how they were able to keep it so minimalist with the characters and the story and [still] keep it mainstream,” Hamill told ET. “I thought it was more in theme with what George wanted originally.”
And while he’s completed his Star Wars run, Hamill is glad to see the franchise continue.
Many More Stories To Tell
“There are so many stories they can tell, so many talented actors and writers and directors, and now I can just be a fan,” said Mark. “I’ll always be partial to any Star Wars project.”
In the end, most fans will be partial to Mark Hamill, too.
Especially after this terrific interview with Entertainment Tonight:

Master Skywalker: A Master Of Quarantine
It was very endearing to hear about Hamill’s routine under COVID-19 lockdown.
“It’s so surreal,” He told Crossan. “I’ve never forgotten what day of the week it is more often than since we’ve been shut down.
“But, um, you know, I’m sort of reclusive anyway.
“So, part of me can appreciate it, but I can understand if people are just going stir-crazy.”
Hamill, of course, hasn’t stopped acting. And while he hasn’t picked up any voice work during the shutdown, fans will see him on TV soon.
Jedi Turned Vampire
Fans can see him guest star on What We Do in the Shadows.
“I was a mad fan of the film,” said Hamill of being in the comedy. “And when I heard they were going to do a television series… and I saw that first episode.
“And I was just blown away.
“But I was tweeting about it… and when I saw that they wanted me to play the character called The Vampire I just couldn’t believe it,” he said.

DAVE FILONI, JON FAVREAU
And, as far as Boba Fett returning to Star Wars, Hamill isn’t worried about the continuity.
“There’s so many ways they can go and John Favreau and Dave Filoni are both the right people for the job. They know it better than I do.”
Spoken like a true Jedi Master, no?
