British Woman Dress After Up As a Disney Character Everyday During COVID-19 Stay At Home
We love that people are coming up with creative ways to add a bit of Disney magic to their days while in quarantine. Over the past few weeks, we here at MickeyBlog have been sharing stories of families recreating their favorite Disney rides at home and today we even shared the news of an Austin Texas couple who painted a Disney mural on their garage to cheer up their neighbors.
Today we go across the pond for this awesome story about Isabel Burrows. She is making lockdown more fun by using items she already has in her closet to become a new Disney character every day. As the Metro UK tells us, she has been a big Disney fans since she was little.
From Belle and Mary Poppins to Cruella and Ariel,we think you’ll agree that her Disney-bounding looks are mighty impressive!

In the images you can see some pretty awesome get-ups from Captin Hook’s sidekick Mr Smee to Peter Pan each outfit comes together perfectly! Isabel told the Metro, ‘I have been obsessed with Disney for as long as I can remember.” She adds,. ‘I thought – “I’m going to challenge myself to come up with these looks.”

‘Now Disney Plus has come out, I have been watching 24/7. I wanted to do something fun to keep busy.’ We were pretty impressed with some of the items she had in her wardrobe but she tells the metro that a few were for local Comicon events. She also added that she is a primary school teacher so has also collected costumes for dressing up days at school.

Isabel was inspired to start creating these awesome looks when a colleague of hers was dressing up to post homework videos online and she knew she had to give it a go. ‘Disney gives that safe space to be able to just not think about what is going on in the world,’ she said.

So does she have plans to continue? She told the Metro UK that she will carry on until she runs out of ideas. ‘I want to keep people smiling and it is keeping me busy thinking about how I am going to create this look and what I can do next,’ she said. ‘My dad takes the photos – I love him to bits. He is up for it but he doesn’t know who any of the characters are!’

When asked who her favorite character was she responded that it was Belle from Beauty and the Beast. She added, ‘She is the dream character to play for anything,’ she said. ‘Beauty and the Beast is my favourite Disney film. It’s got me through. She is so strong and independent.’
