Infamous Disneyland Viral Video Assailant Pleads Guilty to 14 Charges
Justice Comes to Disneyland
One of the ugliest chapters in Disneyland history finally came to a close today. Las Vegas native Avery Robinson pleaded guilty and agreed to serve a six-month sentence in jail.
While you may not know the name, you undoubtedly remember Robinson, who earned a permanent spot in viral video infamy. The man turned a lovely day at the Happiest Place on Earth into a horror show when he suddenly started throwing punches at his family members.

Several bystanders took out their cameras and recorded video of the shocking events. Robinson punched his sister, his brother-in-law, and his girlfriend during a wild fracas at Mickey’s Toontown.
Robinson initially faced five felony charges along with nine misdemeanors. However, a prosecutor demonstrated lenience with the plea bargain. Robinson has confessed to one felony and several misdemeanors, thereby reducing his jail-time.
Two Family Members Failed to Show in Court
The entire Robinson made headlines a second time last year. None of the three people facing charges appeared for their scheduled court date. Robinson’s sister, Andrea, and her husband, Daman Petrie, also failed to show today. As such, the court has declared them fugitives from justice.
According to court records, Andrea Robinson faced five misdemeanors, while Petrie received one misdemeanor battery allegation. Now that they’ve failed to appear in court, they could earn more charges.

The Plea Bargain Details
The Orange County Register indicates that Avery Robinson accepted the following charges: “one count of corporal injury on a cohabitant, a count of assault with force likely to produce great bodily injury, a count of assault with a deadly weapon, two counts of criminal threats, five counts of battery and four counts of child abuse and endangerment.”
Based on this information, it appears that prosecutors reduced four of the felony charges to misdemeanors as part of the plea bargain agreement.

Fox 11 in Los Angeles adds that his sister’s charges are: “four misdemeanor counts of battery for allegedly attacking her brother, his girlfriend and a Disneyland security guard, and a misdemeanor count of assault on her brother’s girlfriend.”
The publication adds that she could receive as much as 30 months of jail-time.

Petrie’s accusation is simple battery against Avery Robinson’s girlfriend. He could theoretically face up to six months in jail.
