Disneyland Reveals New Eats and Treats To Celebrate “Magic Happens” Parade
Today is a VERY special day at Disneyland theme park with the official debut of the “Magic Happens” parade. This incredible new offering will feature some of your favorite Disney and Pixar characters complete with stunning floats, energetic music and artistic costumes.
As if that weren’t enough, the Disneyland chefs have just revealed some awesome eats and treats to celebrate the occasion! Let’s take a look.
Dulce de Leche Sundae – Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor
The perfect way to satisfy your sweet tooth, this delicious Sundae features a waffle bowl with a double scoop of dulce de leche ice cream topped with bananas, caramel, a Mickey-shaped sugar cookie, whipped cream and a cherry!
Esquite Hot Dog – Refreshment Corner
Those looking for something savory will definitely want to try this foot-long hot dog with crushed corn chips and corn esquite mix. Its also topped with cotija cheese and chilli-cayenne powder. It also comes with a side of chips or fresh fruit.
Island Pork Toasted Sandwich – Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe
Perfect for a light lunch, this sandwich comes with Black Forest ham, kalua smoked pork, Monterey Jack cheese, pineapple relish and cilantro with house-made chips!
Of course, also at Jolly Holiday, if you’re craving something to satisfy your sweet tooth, try the Royal Cupcake, a vanilla cupcake with buttercream icing, or the Dia de los Muertos Hand Pie with guava filling – YUM!
Magic Happens Dining Package – Plaza Inn
In addition to all of the awesome eats above, the Plaza Inn is also offering a new dining experience where guests can enjoy a lunch entree, one beverage, and one voucher that provides access to the parades reserved viewing area.
