Walt Disney World Foodie News for February 2020
Calling at Walt Disney World Foodies! Some delicious new food and beverage options along with new experiences have arrived and I am excited to share them with y’all! One thing is for sure, if you aren’t currently hungry or thirsty while reading this, you will be by the time you are done!
Sangria University at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort
First up in Walt Disney World Foodie news is Sangria University at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. This experience is taught by Sangria Sommeliers at Three Bridges Bar & Grill and will teach you how to make your own signature sangria. During the session, participants will learn about the history of the popular wine cocktail and you will even be able to taste four of the restaurant’s house-made sangrias before you make your own. These “classes” are offered on Saturdays and Sundays from 2:30 to 3:30 and is just $45 per Guest.
After you finish your class, make sure to stick around and try some of the tasty options on the menu at Three Bridges Bar & Grill. Options include curry-lentil hummus with naan bread and crackers, warm manchego and Oaxaca cheese dip, and fried shrimp corn dogs. Make sure to finish the day with with a vanilla custard tart or even warm churros with chocolate sauce. Guests who are gluten sensitive can even indulge as gluten-free churros are on the menu!
New Magic Kingdom Snacks
Walt Disney World Foodies will also love these two new snack options that have arrived at the Magic Kingdom! The first is the Minnie Mouse Chocolate Chip Lava Cake. It features as chocolate chip lava cookie served warm and topped with buttercream and a chocolate Minnie bow.
The second new treat to arrive at the Magic Kingdom this month is the Mermaid Slush. Found at Prince Eric’s Village Market, this berry-flavored slush is topped with whipped cream and a chocolate mermaid tail.
New Burger at D-Luxe Burger
Finally, Walt Disney World Foodies will want to head over to Disney Springs to try the latest burger from D-Luxe Burger. The Pizza Burger starts with a signature-blend beef patty and topped with artisan pepperoni, fried mozzarella, Pomodoro sauce, and lettuce. If this sounds too good to be true, HURRY over to Disney Springs because it will only be available until the end of the month!
