Marvel Releases New ‘Black Widow’ Trailer To Celebrate 100 Days Until the Premiere
Yesterday was an important day for fans that are anxiously awaiting the next instalment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Black Widow, which will be the first instalment in Marvel’s Phase 4 . Marvel/Disney released a promo yesterday announcing that we are only 100 days from the film!
Black Widow (Staring Scarlet Johannson in the title role) will officially premiere on May 1, 2020. In terms of where it fits into the intricate Marvel timeline, the action in the film is expected to take place between Civil War and Infinity War.
The film will delve deeper into Natasha’s Black Widow character. This includes her family as well as the Soviet superhero the Red Guardian. The film is also expected to introduce us to who will replace Natasha in the Avengers going forward. However, Marvel has promised that rather than being simply backstory, the film will also advance the MCU Phase 4 storyline and lay the groundwork for future films.

In Marvel Studios’ action-packed spy thriller “Black Widow,” Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow, confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger.
