France Pavilion Preps For Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along With New Signage
As we’ve mentioned previously on MickeyBlog, Epcot’s France Pavilion is getting a bit of a facelift! Not only will it become the future home of new ride – Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure but opening soon is a new Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along! This new show (in the same vein as the Frozen Singalong at Hollywood Studios) is slated to open on January 17th to coincide with the start of the Epcot Internation Festival of the Arts.
Our MickeyBlogger was on the scene at Epcot this afternoon and noticed that new signage has gone up outside of the Palais du Cinema theater that will house the new Sing-Along! Here’s a first look at the new digital marquee!
As you can see from the image above, signage has gone up over the theater. Once the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along official opens, this will let visitors know how long it will be until the next showing.
At the moment, the theater is being guarded by Cast Members while Epcot puts the finishing touches on this brand new offering!
Here you can see all of the stunning bronze detailing of the digital marquee.
And here’s a more “traditional” signage letting guests know that exciting changes are on the way!
Once open, the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along is sure to delight! This new show is directed and produced by Don Hahn producer of both the animated and live-action versions of the film. Guests will be invited to participate in a twist on this “tale as old as time” which features narration from Angela Lansbury (who played Mrs Potts in the original film.” The Sing-Along will run in rotation with “Impressions de France” which will receive an upgrade to 4K projection.
Readers are encouraged to keep following along with MickeyBlog for more exciting news and updates regarding the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along as well as other exciting changes coming to Epcot in the weeks and months ahead!
