Going Viral
The Baby Yoda Cat post closed with, “She quickly went viral, and has been featured in various websites including Love Meow and Good Morning America! Baby Yoda Cat plans to be a spokes kitty for all of the homeless animals around the world that are being euthanized in animal shelters due to lack of homes. The rescue is accepting local applications, but she won’t officially be available for adoption until her wounds are healed, she is spayed, microchipped, and receives her second round of vaccines and dewormer. Stay tuned!!“
According to ColeandMarmalade.com, “While the entirety of the Internet is calling this little survivor Baby Yoda Cat, her official name is Joy. She’s staying with the dedicated animal rescuers of HSRC until she’s 100% healthy. They say she has a long road of recovery ahead of her, but they’re optimistic her life is about to get a whole lot better.”
ColeandMarmalade.com continued, “As predicted, HSRC has already received several inquiries from people wanting to adopt this already-famous Baby Yoda Cat.The shelter says that while Joy is looking for her perfect home, she’s not ready to leave the shelter. Her fosters will keep her safe until she is fully healed, and then they will process local adoption applications. The shelter’s goal is to find Joy a home that will love her unconditionally. And if her new family decides to keep her in the Internet’s spotlight, they hope her story will be used to advocate for other rescue cats just like her. “
