Opening of New Space 220 Restaurant at Epcot Delayed Until Winter 2020
Originally, it was believed that the new Space 220 Restaurant coming to Epcot could be opening as early as next month. Many (myself included) were hoping it would be open at least by Christmas.
However, per a recently posted job post for the Space 220 Restaurant, it appears that the opening date has been pushed back to February 220. We recently reported that a search for an executive chef was underway after the original hire resigned.
The Space 220 job posting is for a bartender and states:
Space 220 plans to launch in February 2020 and we’re looking for Bartenders to join our crew and start training in January. Our ideal Bartenders are experienced cocktail makers and beer pourers, you have great interpersonal skills, are excited about contributing to a team, and are dedicated to creating a memorable guest experience.
In addition to the posting for the bartender, it appears that a few other positions are needed to be filled prior to the opening of the Space 220 Restaurant including a restaurant manager, dining room cashier, and more. For additional information on open positions, please CLICK HERE.
