Dates for 2020 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival Announced
Mark your calendars! The dates for the 2020 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival at Walt Disney World have been announced! The 27th annual festival will be held from March 4 to June 1, 2020.
The 2020 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival will run for a consecutive 90 days offering seasonal sights, sounds, and flavors designed with the entire family in mind. Guests will be able to nosh on delicious dishes and lively libations at the festival’s Outdoor Kitchens. And, don’t forget about the Garden Rocks Concert Series which offers Guests the chance to hear some of their favorite musical artists perform.
Year after year, the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival provides Guests with the opportunity to enjoy themed topiaries. The Epcot horitulture team is already working on ideas for next year’s festival including an all-new Remy topiary that will be the centerpiece of a new Ratatouille Garden in the France pavilion. The Ratatouille Garden will be fileld with vegetables used to make ratatouille. Other returning toparies include my personal favorite of Snow White, Elsa and Anna, Belle and Beast, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Miss Piggy and Kermit.
Since the Festival is all about the the flowers and gardens, 2020 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival Guests make their way around the various Outdoor Kitchens, they will discover raised-bed or in-ground gardens full of herbs and produce. Guests will also have the opportunity to learn top tips to grow a garden of their own. Plants of every color of the rainbow will add even more magic around Epcot. Be on the lookout for dozens of Disney-themed “flower towers” that will provide colorful photo ops. Mini-gardens will be set afloat like floral pontoons on the Future World east and west lakes.
When the adults need a break and the kids need to run off some energy, head over to the 2020 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival Play Garden and Family Play Zone. There, guests will be able to enjoy the The Goodness Garden Butterfly House presents by GoGoSqueeZ. Another popular attraction during the festival for Guests of all ages is the “How To” Garden that will also be returning for another year.
