Unwrapped Disney Skyliner Gondolas Make Their Debut
This is so exciting! Disney has unveiled 55 gorgeous Disney-themed Skyliner Gondolas. The Disney Skyliner system is still undergoing special test runs but it just means we are one step closer to it being finished. Who else can’t wait to try these out later this fall?
As you can see in the photo above, not every cabin has images displayed on it. But many gondolas feature stunning graphics based on Disney films, attractions and characters. If you’re visiting Walt Disney World you can see them soar above you as they make test runs between Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Walt Disney Imagineering began testing the Disney Skyliner Gondolas at the Resort just months ago. The unwrapping of these cabins are a major milestone for the overall testing process of the state-of-the-art transportation system.
The featured Disney Skyliner Gondolas will give guests the opportunity to ride with favorites such as Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Lilo & Stitch, and the Hitchhiking Ghosts from the Haunted Mansion.
When fall arrives, guests of Disney Skyliner Resorts will be able to enjoy the benefit of being whisked between Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios. These Skyliner Resorts include Disney’s Riviera Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort and Disney’s Art of Animation Resort.
