As we all know by now, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will be a fully immersive experience allowing Guests to experience life on the planet of Batuu. Disney has previewed the unique food and beverage options that will be for Guests to enjoy. But, now, we are getting some insight into how Coca-Cola will play a major role in the immersive experience with these specially designed products just for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
When Imagineers were thinking of ways to enhance the food and beverage experience in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, it was a no-brainer to reach out to Coca-Cola. Both the Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts have had a long relationship with the soft drink giant for several years. (Coca-Cola was served at the Refreshment Corner on Main Street U.S.A. in Disneyland Park since 1955!) Together with Lucasfilm Ltd., a new way to bring your Star Wars experience to life was born.
Each bottle was created to tell a story. And, as you can imagine, will be in high demand once Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens on May 31 in Disneyland Park at the Disneyland Resort and August 29 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World.
