Ultimate Guide to Galentine’s Day at Walt Disney World
Tomorrow, couples from all walks of life will come together to celebrate the strongest, most binding force in existence: love. Women will be showered in roses and escorted to extravagant dinners by men vying for their returned love. It’s Galentine’s Day!
Speaking from experience, Walt Disney World Resort will seem normal by day on Valentine’s Day, but at night is when the lovebirds will materialize…and unless you’re one of a happy couple, my advice is to celebrate today, on Galentine’s Day! Gather up your best girl group and head out for what is sure to be the most memorable celebration of friendship you’ve ever experienced!
Disney Springs
Drinks and dinner aren’t solely reserved for couples- us girls like to celebrate too! My favorite way to spend a Disney Springs Galentine’s Day is as follows: Start your day at Paradiso 37 where they serve the tastiest (and strongest!) margaritas!
Any of their small plates will do for a pre-dinner snack, but an order of chips and dip of choice is the shareable option I always choose! The atmosphere here is lively and fun, and if the weather allows, you can eat and drink al fresco overlooking Saratoga Springs!
After you’ve had your fill of chips and margs, head Wine Bar George! They boast an impressively long wine list. If you aren’t sure which wine to pair with your palette, take advantage of one of the restaurant’s major draws: a full-time sommelier!
He/she will help you pair the perfect wine with your shareable dinner! Whenever I visit with a group, the super shareable and absolutely delicious steak, asparagus, and roasted potatoes board has successfully delighted every person I’ve had the pleasure of sharing it with!
The Boardwalk
If you’re in the mood to dress to the nines and hit the town with your best girls, Disney’s Boardwalk area is the place to go! For a real ‘treat yourself’ dinner, make a reservation at Flying Fish. Not only have I never been disappointed in the food here, but the service and overall atmospheric experience ranks among some of the best I’ve had on Disney Property!
After your meal, my favorite place to hang out with my friends is at Abracadabar! Located mere feet from Flying Fish, your night of celebrating friendships is just getting started! Their magic-inspired drinks menu always leaves me wanting more than one.
My go-to is the Magic Hattan complete with Hudson Manhattan Rye and sweetly tangy Vermouth. If you’re still raring to go after your visit to Abracadabar, there is always more fun to be had over at Dueling Pianos where live music and sing-a-longs are always a guarantee.

Dessert Crawls
Ok, let’s get down to business ladies. Drinks and dinner are nice, but whenever I’m with my girlfriends, we’re all about indulging in the chocolat-y-est, most decadent desserts together! That being said, I’ve tried more than my fair share of Walt Disney World desserts, and I have not one, but TWO fantastic dessert crawls for you to enjoy on Galentine’s Day…thank me later!

With a full arsenal of Galentine’s Day options up your sleeve, it can be difficult to narrow the options…so let me help! If you’re visiting Epcot (or have a park hopper), I recommend dining at Flying Fish before finishing off the evening with the Epcot dessert crawl.
If you’re not visiting the Parks today, definitely opt for a no-ticket-required option, like a night out at Paradiso 37 at Disney Springs! I can’t in good conscience pick a favorite, so I want you to tell me what option you’d choose! Leave me a comment below and let me know…and happy Galentine’s Day ladies!
