6 Amazing Sponsors of Walt Disney World Resort
They’re one of the largest companies in the world. In addition to owning and operating 12 theme parks around the world, they are also one of the largest producers of feature films stateside and around the world. Plus, they’ve acquired and now own IP’s like Lucasfilm, Marvel, and 21st Century Fox.
To say The Walt Disney Company is a global force to be reckoned with is a major understatement! Despite their financial power, the company still relies heavily on sponsors in their theme parks, so let’s take a look at the sponsors who help supply the magic!
Ziploc
One of the newest sponsors this year, Ziploc teamed up with Disney on an endeavor that has absolutely nothing to do with food storage. Ziplocs aren’t only good for toting snacks and lunches, they’re also great for keeping important electronics high and dry! When you ride Splash Mountain, stow your phone in a complimentary Ziploc, available in the attraction queue!
Florida Hospital
Keeping it local, The Florida Hospital sponsors the first aid stations in Magic Kingdom. You can find locations in Tomorrowland and on Main Street USA. Hopefully you’ll never need to visit, but the complimentary stations are great for little cuts and scrapes and are an easy spot to find a band aid when you run out.
Huggies
As always, Disney values families and their needs. That’s why they’ve partnered with Huggies to provide clean and safe baby care stations in each and every one of their theme parks! They aren’t just places for a diaper change, but the spot to go if you forgot to pack anything from your wipes to a diaper!
Cuties
They’re one of my favorite morning snacks, and the cute little clementines I’ve grown up loving officially have Disney’s stamp of approval too! Available wherever fruit is sold, Cuties clementines are a sweet and easy on-the-go snack. Their small size makes them a perfect fit for youngsters’ tiny hands, and not only are they a blast to peel and eat, they are among the few ‘healthy’ snack options in the parks.
Babybel
Another super easy and ready-to-eat snack sponsor, Babybel’s mini cheese rounds pack a powerful punch of protein to help you through those long, hot Florida afternoons. You can find them in all of the parks at various locations, but my favorite spot is in Toy Story Land. When you shrink to toy size and eat at Woody’s Lunchbox, something as small as a Babybel cheese seems huge! I’ve heard they make pretty comfy chairs too!
Smucker’s
The Main Street Confectionery. You can smell the sweet scents of caramel and chocolate before you step through the door, and it’s thanks to Smucker’s sponsorship that we can enjoy the treats from this working candy shop! It’s not blatant, and you certainly have to search, but if you look hard enough, you’ll find small nods to the brand everywhere in the Confectionery! Have you spotted the jam jars? Where else in the Confectionery can you find Smucker’s branding? If you know, leave me a comment- I want to know who’s discovered all the secret spots!
