Does Disney World Offer Religious Services on Christmas Morning?
For those lucky enough to be spending Christmas at Walt Disney World Resort, staying onsite doesn’t mean having to sacrifice a visit to church on Christmas morning. Disney does offer Christmas religious services at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. The Contemporary’s close proximity to both the monorail line and Magic Kingdom makes it a perfect morning option before heading to the parks for the day.
Here’s everything you need to know about church services on Christmas morning:
All services are held at the Fantasia Ballroom at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. There are three services on Christmas morning (December 25). These are as follows:
- Catholic Service – 8 AM
- Protestant Service – 9.15 AM
- Catholic Service – 10: 30 AM
Guests staying onsite at a Walt Disney World Resort are encouraged to utilize Disney Resort transportation to get to and from the services as parking lots are for the exclusive use of resort guests or those with Advanced Dining Reservations. For visitors staying at one of Disney’s monorail resorts, you can easily get to the Contemporary by monorail or water taxi. All other guests should hop the bus to Magic Kingdom and either walk to the Contemporary on the designated footpath or hop the monorail. Please allow yourself plenty of time to arrive for the services. Guests arriving via monorail will be expected to go through the necessary security checkpoints.
