Everything You Need to Know About Disney Weddings
If you’re a Disney fan than at one point in your life you’ve dreamt about having your wedding at Disney World. Most girls want a princess fairy tale wedding and although Disney does offer that as an option it is just one of many when it comes to Disney weddings. Whether you want the royal treatment, a destination wedding, or even a tower of terror wedding you can have it. Disney will basically allow you to use any location for a price.
There are many locations available to have weddings and here are some price estimations.
Resorts start at $4,000
Park locations start at $4,500
Main Street Train Station starts at $15,000
East Plaza Garden near Cinderella Castle starts at $25,000
Magic Kingdom After Hours starts at $50,000
Prices range from $3,000 and up and the $3,000 package is for a couple and four guests. They’re pricey, but what do you expect for a fairytale wedding.
On top of the base prices you can also add a variety of amenities. If your wanting the royal treatment you can ride up in Cinderella’s carriage for an extra $3,200. However, if Cinderella’s carriage isn’t your style than you can also choose a horse drawn carriage or a vintage automobile.
You can also have characters come to your reception. To have Mickey at your reception it costs $1,300 for thirty minutes. You can choose from a variety of characters, but Mickey and Minnie are the most popular.
Some other amenities are a white dove flyover which costs $250 or a private firework display and dessert party for $2,500.
When you book a wedding at Disney it’s all inclusive, which means Disney oversees everything from decorations to food. Brunch costs $140 per person, lunch costs $165 per person, and dinner costs $190 per person. Disney even provides the wedding cake. You can choose to have a projection cake, which is a cake that has images or video projected on to it, for $3,000 or if you simply just want Ohana’s bread pudding as your cake you can do that instead.
