Disneyland Resort Horses Take Part In Anaheim Halloween Parade
The annual Anaheim Halloween Parade took place this past Saturday, October 27th in downtown Anaheim, California. Going strong for 94 years, the parade has delighted residents from the incredibly young to the incredibly young at heart. This year, the parade had some magical friends take part, the Disneyland Resort horses!
Bug and Finn, two of Disneyland Resort’s majestic horses, trotted down the parade route pulling a ghoulish black carriage. Walking with them were Circle D cast members, dressed to impress with spooky attire. The main mouse himself rode inside the carriage.

Bug and Finn then partied the night away back at the Circle D Ranch, the horses’ new home. This new facility officially became the home of the “Happiest Horses on Earth” on June 10th, 2017. It is housed on 5.5 acres and includes a state-of-the-art barn with comfortable stalls for each equine resident. It also has a large exercise arena and turn-outs for the horses to “play” in.
The Circle D Ranch is located about 30 miles outside of Disneyland. While it is not currently open to the public, you can catch the incredible Disneyland horses in the parks. They are even considered cast members! Next time you spot one, you can learn it’s name and where it’s from simply by taking a peek at it’s name tag (just like human cast members). Their name tags are found on the cart they happen to be pulling. Pretty neat, huh?
