More Exciting Details Emerge of Disney’s Live-Action Star Wars Series Mandalorian
In case you haven’t heard, there’s a brand new live-action series based on the Star Wars universe that is being created especially for Disney’s soon to be unveiled streaming service. The series will be called Mandalorian and Disney has recently revealed a few other exciting details about this project that we here at MickeyBlog are excited to share with you.
Production has already begun on the series which is set after the fall of the Empire but before the emergence of the First Order. Jon Favreau who is the writer and executive producer of the series shared some recent details about the plot on his Instagram account.

The series will follow the adventures of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy, far removed from the authority of the New Republic. The show’s premiere will be directed by Dave Filoni (Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars: Rebels). Later episodes will feature the directing talents of Deborah Chow (Jessica Jones), Rick Famuyiwa (Dope), Bryce Dallas Howard (Solemates, Jurassic World), and Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok).
