7. Disney Coronado Resort
Step back more than a thousand years as you swim through replica Mayan temples at Disney’s Coronado Resort. The pool, which was inspired by the lost city of Cibolo in Texas, has a themed dig site along with a fifty foot pyramid cascading water into the pool. Kids can enjoy the 123-foot long water slide also located on the property.

6. Disney Polynesian Resort
Located at Disney’s Polynesian Resort is a completely redesigned lava pool that was re-opened in 2015. Alongside the tiki-inspired child’s play area with mini waterslides,you’ll find a fun pool hot tub. And what good is a lava pool without a volcano? Disney thought so, too. Children can climb up to the top the Volcano and ride a 142-foot long water slide —offering the best view of the parks compared to any of the other Disney Resort pools.

5. Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
You better believe any pool in Animal Kingdom will be wild! Surrounded by shrubbery and tall trees within Disney’s ‘Kidani Village’, you’ll find a zero-entry pool that gives off total jungle vibes. If you’re a parent, this water fun might be your best bet, since it features a ‘Uwanja Camp’ splash area, cargo crate tunnels and water cannons!
Or, older guests can enjoy the Jambo House as they swim in one of the largest of the Disney Resort pools. Enjoy the Lodge’s private animal viewing station, ride on the waterslide and sit back in a relaxing hot tub. In other words: chill and soak it all up.
4. Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
On the topic of of wilderness, you can also enjoy the Copper Creek Spring Pool nestled in nature at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. Here, children can hop on a 67-foot long water slide that’s tucked behind the many boulders sitting on the property. When they’ve the waterslide, head over to the kid’s area splash zone, or make your way to Geyser Bar and Grill for a quick bite to eat.

3. Disney’s Beach and Yacht Club Resort
Enjoy a life-sized shipwreck replica as you swim through a makeshift sand-bottom pool called Stormalong Bay at Disney’s Beach and Yacht Club Resort. When exploring the bay, make sure to ride the 230-foot long water slide within the abandoned ship. Not only does the resort house Stormalong Bay, but is complete with volleyball pools and three whirlpools.

2. Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
Known to house the biggest of the Disney Resort pools, the Big Blue is notably the whale of Disney swimming pools. It is packed with more than 300,000 gallons of water, underwater speakers and jumbo sized characters from Finding Nemo (including Crush the turtle and Nemo himself). The resort also houses a kiddie-splash zone called Schoolyard Sprayground, as well as a secondary pool called the Cozy Cone pool filled with free themed cabanas.

Like any other life of luxury, the Four Seasons rolled out the red carpet on their assortment of Disney Resort pools, ranking this resort number one on our list. Complete with an adult pool, family pool, lazy river, splash zone and water slide—the Four Seasons does not disappoint. The lazy river includes a bubbling rapids section, snakes around the whole resort— and for when you’re done being lazy, you can play in the splash zone where choreographed water fountains blast water up to 30 feet in the air.
