New Dining and Entertainment Coming to Disney Springs in 2020
We may only be 14 hours into 2020 but already we’ve got exciting news to share about things to look forward to in the year ahead! This afternoon we set our sights on Disney Springs. Last year was a banner year for Walt Disney World’s downtown shopping district which saw the opening of The Art Corner by Artistic Talent Group, Jaleo by Jose Andres, the Disney Ticket Center, NBA Experience, the Ron Jon Surf Shop and more.
To keep the awesome momentum going, here are a few Disney Springs openings you’ll want to be on the lookout for in the year ahead!
“Drawn to Life”
Just a few weeks ago, we here at MickeyBlog announced the name of a new Cirque du Soleil show. “Drawn to Life” will be the first-ever collaboration between Cirque du Soleil, Walt Disney Animation Studios and Walt Disney Imagineering. During this stunning production, guests will journey into a world where an animator’s desk becomes the stage and drawings come to life. Guests can expect an awe-inspiring mix of stunning Disney animation combined with the thrilling spectacle of Cirque du Soleil. Best of all, tickets for 2020 are on sale NOW. You can purchase them online here or by calling (855) 473-7783 or (702) 352-0221.
City Works Pour House & Eatery
Just mere steps away from the NBA Experience, this new eatery will bring classic American fare and a mighty beer menu to Disney Springs! The eatery promises an extensive craft beer menu of over 90 local and global craft brews (on tap.) Sports fans will also be able to catch up on the game with massive, state-of-the-art HDTVs at every angle. And don’t get us started on the food menu which will feature an eclectic mix of bar bites, burgers, sandwiches, tacos, salads, brunch and more!
Ample Hills Creamery
Fans of Ample Hills Creamery at Disney’s Boardwalk will be pleased to know this much-loved ice cream shop will be opening on the West Side of Disney Springs in Winter 2020! Head to Ample Hills Creamery for some of the most decadent ice cream desserts this side of the East River—including bowls, cones, cakes, pints and sundaes handcrafted with house-made mix-ins and farm-fresh ingredients. Using an inventive approach to an old-fashioned confection, the company’s passion for storytelling is churned into each of its one-of-a-kind flavor combinations. Tempt your taste buds with fan faves like Ooey Gooey Butter Cake, Peppermint Pattie and Nonna D’s Oatmeal Lace, to name a few. Plus, each location features a shop-specific, signature flavor not found anywhere else.
Keep an eye out in the new year for more updates on official opening dates for these venues.
