Restaurant Marrakesh Reopens as a Lounge and Kidcot Station in EPCOT
Now that VIPassholder Days have ended at Walt Disney World, Restaurant Marrakesh has reopened to the general public at EPOCT.
For those who don’t know, the former Morocco pavilion restaurant served as an Annual Passholder lounge from May 1 through June 26, 2024. During that time, Passholders could relax in the air conditioning, enjoy complimentary snacks, and even meet Genie from Aladdin.
Since the end of June, however, Restaurant Marrakesh has been closed.
Restaurant Marrakesh Reopens as
Well, I am happy to report that the former Morocco pavilion restaurant has officially reopened today, and all guests can now enjoy the location.
While Restaurant Marrakesh is no longer an operating eatery, guests can still visit the location to relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
The interior of the restaurant is as beautiful as ever.
As you can see, there are plenty of places to sit and cool off in the air conditioning.
The Morocco Pavilion Kidcot Station
At this time, Restaurant Marrakesh is also serving as the Morocco pavilion’s Kidcot station.
Young guests will want to stop by to get their passports stamped and perhaps even do some coloring.
It has been four years since Restaurant Marrakesh last served food. Even if Disney is not going to use the location as a restaurant, it is good to see that guests can still enjoy the space.
