PHOTOS: Tour Disney World’s New EPCOT Annual Passholder Lounge!
As part of Walt Disney World’s V.I.PASSHOLDER Days, Annual Passholders can get some great perks at EPCOT from now through June 26th. These include a new magnet, photo ops, and a special treat.
There is also a new spot to relax while you’re over in EPCOT. So, come along with us to check out the Annual Passholder Lounge!
Annual Passholder Lounge
The Annual Passholder Lounge is located over in the Morocco Pavilion, in the former Restaurant Marrakesh.
A small tile sign on either side of the front entrance lets Annual Passholders know that this is the V.I.Passholder Lounge.

Interestingly, the Morocco pavilion construction is continuing just outside the front entrance.
In order to get inside the Annual Passholder Lounge, a Disney Cast Member must scan your AP and check your ID.
At this time, you are also given a cute Passholder button!

A Look Inside
The inside of the lounge looks..well, like the inside of Restaurant Marrakesh. It’s very nice!
The restaurant’s tables are set up for guests to sit at, and signage around the room confirms that this is indeed the Annual Passholder Lounge.
There are even cute little displays on the tables.
Here is a look at one corner of the lounge.
Charging Tower
While relaxing, guests can recharge their devices at the charging tower.
All they have to do is pick an available locker and plug in. The door is then locked with any 4-digit code.
Snacks and Refreshments
The refreshment station has Moroccan mint tea and water.
As you can see, everything is decorated in red and gold!
There are also snacks available, including Chex mix and fruit trail mix.

We Met Genie!
As part of their promotion for V.I.Passholder Days, Disney promised AP holders exclusive character meet and greets.
The lounge has a space clearly set up for character interactions.
Today, Genie is meeting with guests!

While we can’t confirm that Genie will be meeting every day or if it will be a rotation, seeing the Aladdin star was a magical way to kick off V.I.Passholder Days.
Genie, or whichever character is meeting in the lounge, will continue to interact with guests throughout the day!

All in all, the Annual Passholder Lounge is a great place to stop by and relax! The lounge is open daily from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. So, if you are a Passholder, make sure you stop by!

We should note that by 1 p.m., the line to get into the Annual Passholder Lounge was LONG.
