This Drink Has its Own Instagram Filter at Disney World!
It may be Monday morning in the real world, but every day is a vacation here at Walt Disney World!
Especially at EPCOT, where the park always seems to be in a permanent state of celebration. Right now, the 2024 EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival is in full bloom, and we MickeyBloggers have been having a fantastically festive time enjoying all the event has to offer!
Of course, while visiting the festival, it’d be almost rude not to stop and take a moment to enjoy a few of the incredible booths and outdoor kitchens scattered across the park. So, on a weekend foray around the World Showcase, our reporters decided to stop by the Jardin de Fiestas booth, located within the Mexico pavilion.
After all, what better way to celebrate the festival than with a fiesta?
Jardin de Fiestas
If you followed along with our coverage from the first day of the festival, you may have already read our full review of the Jardin de Fiestas booth, and all the tasty treats the kitchen had on offer.
However, although we did try a unique lychee cocktail on that day, there was one drink we didn’t try yet…the Floral Margarita!
So, on this weekend’s visit, we decided to treat ourselves and place an order.
We’re glad we did, too — just look how cute this drink is!
Entitled the Floral Margarita, this vibrant drink blends Cherry Liqueur, Mezcal, Hibiscus Tea, and Lime Juice.
It sounds ever so fresh and fruity and costs $14. Better still, it’s even served in this adorable souvenir cup, complete with a vivid booth logo and Flower & Garden Festival artwork!
We all know the infamous margaritas from the Mexico pavilion are worth a go, so of course we had to give this one a try!
But, our tale does not end there.
While we were waiting for our marg to be mixed, our reporters spotted this cute floral display on the kiosk’s counter. There’s a QR code on the pot…how peculiar!
Obviously, we scanned it.
And look! It took us to Instagram!
Yep, this drink officially has its own Instagram filter, aptly titled The Floral Margarita by La Cava del Tequila. The image features a gorgeous pink hibiscus flower (a nod to the drink’s ingredient), and a summery title overhead. How fun!
According to the filter page, the floral artwork was created by Disney artist Dom Corona, who’s no stranger to an EPCOT festival.
We love it!
So, next time you’re at the EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival, try out the Floral Margarita from Jardin de Fiestas and play with the fun Instagram filter while you’re at it.
