July 10th was a slower day in Disney history, but it still featured the release of a Disney film, the opening of a Disneyland Pais land and the debut of a Tokyo Disneyland nighttime spectacular.
Unidentified Flying Oddball (1979)
On this day in 1979, Disney released Unidentified Flying Oddball.
the film was loosely based on Mark Twain’s novel A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court and saw an astronaut and his android travel back in time.
The Fox and the Hound Released (1981)
On this day in 1981, The Fox and the Hound premiered in the United States.
The film told the story of childhood animal friends who find themselves forced to become enemies.
The Brave Little Toaster Released (1987)
On this day in 1987, The Brave Little Toaster was released.
The film told the story of five household appliances who go on a quest to search for their original owner.
La Place de Remy Opens (2014)
On this day in 2014, La Place de Remy opened in Disneyland Paris.
the new mini-land was based on the Disney movie Ratatouille and is home to the attraction Ratatouille: L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy.
Celebrate! Tokyo Disneyland Premieres (2018)
On this day in 2018, Celebrate! Tokyo Disneyland premiered alongside Dreaming Up!, Let’s Party Gras and Hello, New York!.
All three nighttime spectaculars debuted as part of Tokyo Disney Resort’s 35 anniversary.
