The new Orlando International Airport station will connect millions and spans three stories. Highlights include a groundbreaking design and luxury amenities. The Orlando Station is expected to open later this year.
The main entrance of the Brightline Station can be found just off of the airports two-story glass atrium.
Once inside, passengers can get tickets from guest services or opt for one of the self-service kiosks. Luggage is then checked before heading through the touchless turnstiles into a security screen area. We can confirm that Brightline does plan to screen all passengers and bags before boarding.
The terminal will also include an upscale retail experience with in-station shopping.
Also be on the lookout for Mary Mary. This watering hole will be serving up hand-crafted cocktails and lite bites. The sit-down bar will be located on the far end of the station offering panoramic views of the train platform where you can watch trains depart.
As you can see from the image, above the Mary Mary Bar will be an “iconic” flip-flap message board. A nod to historic train stations, the flip-flap will advertise updated train schedules, boarding times, news of the day and more!
Trains platforms can be accessed by escalator or elevators. Here you’ll be able to board from one of two new platforms. Each are 1,000 feet log and will accommodate a train with four coaches and two locomotives that will take guests on the Orlando to Miami route in a little over three hours.
Brightline trains will offer two classes of service. SMART and PREMIUM fares will be available. With the PREMIUM service you’ll get complimentary drinks and snacks in a dedicated lounge and train coach.
Throughout the station, all guests will have access to hi-speed Wi-Fi, charging stations and 87 big screen televisions. There’s also a children’s play area located in the SMART lounge.
Here’s a video that Brightline shared showcasing the new terminal at Orlando International Airport.
The 37,350 square foot station is located in the heart of Orlando International Airport’s 80,000 sq ft new Terminal C. This also connects directly to the airport parking deck C which will offer more than 350 parking spaces (reserved for Brightline guests.) An automated people mover connects the terminal to the rest of the airport including Terminal A and B (about 5 minutes away.)
