Nothings says winter is here and the holidays are coming like the arrival of snow. And if you are lucky enough to be visiting Disney World this festive season, there are plenty of ways to enjoy snow and kick off the holiday fun. Whether looking to indulge in a sweet, snow-inspired treat, or experience a “winter wonderland”, check out these fun “snow” offerings this December at Disney World!
A Flurry of Fun
This is my favorite kind of snow! The kind I don’t have to drive in or shovel early in the morning. As a former Mid-westerner, I miss those picturesque snowy days, but make up for it with a visit to Disney. Catch a flurry of fun and walk through your own winter wonderland while visiting Disney World. “Snow” falls at Disney Springs and on Main Street in Magic Kingdom. Grab your favorite hot chocolate or coffee and wander through the scenic fun.
Savor a Snowman Treat
How sweet are these cupcakes from The Artist’s Palette? Not only is this a delicious treat, but it is super cute too. Savor a delicious and sweet Christmas confetti cupcake filled with cream cheese mousse and topped with lot of delicious buttercream frosting. And how cute are the buttons and nose?
Watch for a Melting Snowman
How adorable is this sweet cookie? Head to PizzeRizzo at Hollywood Studios for a tasty snowman that is almost completely melted. Indulge in a marshmallow snowman head and sweet frosting on top of a sweet sugar cookie. And check out the red and green sprinkles. Delish!
Experience Santa and snow without the cold temps! Tucked away next to Blizzard Beach is the themed mini-golf course designed by Santa himself! This fun mini-golf experience also offers two 18-hole courses with seasonal and Santa-inspired themes: Summer and Winter. Experience the Winter course for classic holiday music and fun snowmen, winter activities, and scenes from the North Pole!
Check Out the Frozen Sing-Along at Hollywood Studios
Now is a great time to check out For The First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along! The beloved sing-along is perfect for Frozen fans, and if you are longing for snow, this special holiday version is perfect for you! The final scenes of this family-friendly show include a fun holiday makeover with colorful festive backdrops for the season. And the best part? There is a whimsical blue and white winter backdrop for the finale. And Elsa uses her super powers to make it snow inside the theater! What an amazing way to experience a flurry this holiday season.
