“Mr Toad’s Wild Ride” Shirt Brings Nostalgia to Disney Springs
If you visited Walt Disney World in between 1971 and 1998, you may remember a quirky attraction named “Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride.”
This unique dark ride adventure was an initial opening-day attraction at the Magic Kingdom, and replicated the ride of the same name at the original Disneyland park in Anaheim.
I’d imagine many Walt Disney World guests don’t remember this attraction at all, as it has since been taken over by “The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh” attraction.
But, if you do hold fond memories of following Mr. Toad through a crazy chase all the way to “Hell,” you’re bound to adore this fun new shirt we just found over at Disney Springs…
This epic, new, men’s button-down perfectly captures all the quirky chaos of this super-nostalgic ride.
The shirt is vibrant in shades of teal, orange, and yellow, with such a busy, all-over pattern that you really have to get close to appreciate it’s uniqueness.
Featured on the fabric of this print is not only Mr. Toad and his “wild” ride vehicle, but also characters including the police, the judge, and Mole. Isn’t it fun?
As we can see from the shirt label, this one-of-a-kind shirt was designed by Disney artists Kevin & Jody, especially for Walt Disney World Resort.
You may recognize their names from other cool merchandise projects, such as this epic D23 “Galactic Journeys” pin set.
The shirt cost $85, and is available in adult sizes. We spotted it over at Art of Disney in Disney Springs, the home of all the best Disney collectibles!
There’s always a snazzy, new button-down to be found over at Disney, and this one inspired by “Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride” gives us so much nostalgia! Will you be sporting it around the Magic Kingdom any time soon?
