PHOTOS: Disney Fine Artist Silvers Shares Exquisite Work
Transcending guests into the imaginative and dream-like realms of Walt Disney Animation’s most popular scenes, Disney Fine Art painter William Silvers opened his showcase today at the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. With decades of experience with Disney animation painting, Silvers work beautifully captures an abundance of heart-warming Disney film moments.
Beautifull balanced between bright colors at the forefront and shadows of iconic animated settings, Silvers paintings offer guests a moment to almost jump into the magical worlds of classics, including “The Little Mermaid,” “Aladdin,” “Beauty and the Beast,” and “Alice in Wonderland.”
In 1995, Silvers began his career with Walt Disney Feature Animation Studios, forging what is now a fine art legacy with his detailed, meaningful work.
Throughout the festival, Silvers will appear at the booth located on the walkway in front of the Germany pavillion. Guests can meet the talented painter from 4 p.m. to close each day of the festival, except on Mondays.
Silvers work features framed canvas works often available exclusively on Disney property. The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts began today and runs through February 21st with Silvers works featured throughout the event.
“William continues to create new and exciting fine art pieces for Disney Galleries and Lucasfilm Ltd. For the past two decades his art has been found throughout the Disney Theme Parks, and his relationship with the Walt Disney Company continues to be a consistent theme in his career,” the artist’s bio describes.
A true celebration of all things visual arts, the festival features an abundance of Disney Fine Arts creators. Each evening, the America Gardens Theatre stage also embraces the festivities with performances by Broadway stars each evening. Creative food and interactive arts experiences also define the five-week immersive experience.
