Man Creates Fantasyland in His Own Basement
Travis Larson is a huge Disney fan. Since he can’t make it to Disneyland as often as he likes, he decided to bring Fantasyland to his basement. Travis started construction is 2008 on his 600 square foot basement and custom built Fantasyland facades of Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, Peter Pan’s Flight, Pinocchio’s Daring Journey, Snow White’s Scary Adventures, Geppetto’s Workshop, and the Village Haus Restaurant. It’s taken him about 3-4 years, and about $5,000, but it looks great! He has even included day and night lighting, as well as crowd sounds and music! Take a look at the completed basement in the video below!
