Terry Crews Campaigning to Play King Triton
This made me smile. America’s Got Talent’s Terry Crews is openly campaigning for the role of King Triton in the upcoming live-action Little Mermaid.
Shortly after Halle Bailey was announced as the new Ariel, Terry hit Twitter:

It seems Crews got the idea, and the photo, from the internet that was already on it in terms of him taking on the role.

Meanwhile, CNN isn’t the only major media outlet to pick up on the story.
There’s no denying Terry Crews, a former NFL player who stars on “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” and is the host of “America’s Got Talent,” could be a viable choice for King Triton.
So Disney, put a trident, er fork, in it. Your search is done, at least according to some Twitter users.
