Disney Villain Tarot Cards Bring Devilish Deck Delight
The classic tarot iconography collide with original illustrations featuring all of the dastardly Disney villains in a new release: “Disney Villains Tarot Deck and Guidebook.”
The 78-card deck uses the nortorious Disney antagonists to take a clever spin on the Major and Minor Arcana of tarot.
Scar takes on the “King of Swords” card. The Evil Queen becomes the “Queen of Wand.” Of course, the Queen of Hearts brings a sinister look to the “Judgement.” card.
Of course, the voodoo magician himself Dr. Facilier embodies “The Magician” card. “The Emperor’s New Groove” oblivious sidekick Kronk appears on the only card perfectly suited for him: “The Fool.”
The new set is availble for pre-order on Amazon now. It officially goes on sale July 20th. The box set includes the cards as well as 127-page guidebook. The easy-to-set allows card-holders to smoothly calculate their own fortunes and futures.
Minerva Siegel authored the tarot cards. Artist Ellie Goldwine crafted the original illustrations. Published by Insight Editions, the set makes a notorious gift for the villain fans out there.
Other Villainous Debuts
The new release joins the first-ever villains-themed cookbook release. The company also authored an incredible illustrated collection of Disney Villain origin stories.
The new collection of recipes presents sweet treats like Ursula’s Poor Unfortunate Rolls and Malificent-themed Evil Cream Horns. It does not stop at sweets though. The collection also serves up a scheming and surprising set of healthy ideas as well.
Malificent, the Haunted House haunts, and other scheming Disney characters will also appear at this year’s Magic Kingdom Halloween celebration, Boo Bash. Tickets went on sale this month for the After Hours event, which begins August 10th. Today, Disney parks released another batch of tickets for many of the event dates to accomodate the enormous entusiasum around the party.
