Avatar Website Gets An Exciting New Look
The official Avatar website just got a brand new look and fans are hoping its a sign of things to come.
The highly anticipated Avatar 2 has been delayed multiple times over the course of its production. James Cameron once had plans to release the sequel in theaters back in 2014, which obviously never happened. The movie has been delayed six times since then, most recently this past year with the worldwide coronavirus shutdowns. Avatar 2 is currently set be released on December 16, 2022 and the newly updated website gives fans hope that this could (finally!) be the real deal.
Avatar.com New Look
In a simple tweet on May 12, Avatar.com gave the Avatar fandom so much excitement and hope:
“Avatar.com just got a fresh coat of paint!”
Upon visiting the website (HERE) you will be greeted with a fresh, clean new look, and the official Avatar 2 logo. The main page has a scrolling slideshow of three different features, including details on the 4th anniversary of Pandora: The World of Avatar on May 27th.
You can also find information on Avatar: The Exhibition, now open in Chengdu, China. Avatar (2009) was recently rereleased in China, officially making it the highest grossing film in history.
And finally, learn about Avatar’s partnership with Mercedes-Benz and their commitment to reimagining the future of electric cars.
Let’s hope that this “fresh coat of paint” is indeed a sign of things to come. To paraphrase what one fan said on Twitter, let’s go, Mr. Cameron!
