California to Allow Fully Vaccinated Guests from Out-of-State to Visit Theme Parks
When the State of California announced they would allow theme parks in the state to reopen, strict guidelines were also released that theme parks would have to follow. California is following a phased approach to reopening their economy and one of the stipulations that theme parks, including Disneyland, were require to adhere to was that the parks would only reopen to those who are residents of California. However, it has just been confirmed that the in-state resident requirement has been lifted and Guests who are from out-of-state AND fully vaccinated are now allowed to visit the state’s theme parks as well.
In a statement to InPark Magazine, the California Depart of Health has confirmed that “fully vaccinated people from out-of-state are now permitted to participate in activities restricted to in-state visitors.”

This information was also confirmed by theme park insider, Scott Gustin (@ScottGustin) on Twitter:
I heard back from CDPH – they confirm the addendum DOES include theme parks.
I also heard back from Disneyland — their policy remains unchanged as of right now.
And as they say… stay tuned.

As you will also see in Scott Gustin’s tweet above, Disneyland has not changed their policy on out-of-state residents who are fully vaccinated visiting Disneyland in California – yet.
This update to the State of California’s guidelines to allow fully vaccinated out-of-state Guests visit theme parks in the state leaves a bunch of questions. The first that comes to mind is how will Guests show proof of vaccination? In addition, when will Disneyland update their guidelines to reflect this change?
