Roundup Rodeo BBQ
So, we review all of the restaurants so you don’t have to! And, it’s time for another one — let’s head on over to one of the most popular restaurants in Magic Kingdom!
Be Our Guest
Be Our Guest is a table service restaurant in Fantasyland — it was part of the land’s big expansion back in 2012. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner and both meals have the same prix-fixe menu, meaning it’s one set base price and you choose an item from a small list of appetizers, entrees, and desserts.
Before the parks shut down due to the global pandemic, Be Our Guest served breakfast, lunch, and dinner and all three meals had different menus and price points. We were hoping it would eventually get back to that (because lunch was honestly a great value!), but no such change has been made.
Be Our Guest is usually a fairly popular restaurant due to the immersive dining rooms and atmosphere, so it’s good to have a reservation ahead of time!
Inside the Restaurant
Be Our Guest is themed to Beauty and the Beast and going inside is basically like stepping into the film!
On your way into the restaurant, you’ll see the bridge to the castle…
…and if you look up you’ll see the far away castle itself as well as a waterfall!
Make sure to check out those gargoyle details on the lamp posts, too.
Inside of Be Our Guest, you’ll be greeted by a large stone entryway.
And, there are more gargoyles!
There’s also a great mosaic of Belle and the Beast in his human form.
There are three different dining rooms to choose from: the Grand Ballroom, the West Wing, and the Rose Gallery.
The Grand Ballroom is the one you will recognize the most from the movie! It’s just like the ballroom that Belle and the Beast have their famous dance moment.
There is a high, domed ceiling, chandeliers, and snow-laced Gothic arches.
Check out that awesome artwork on the ceiling!
Over in the West Wing, you might need a flashlight. It’s very dark in here! You might even catch some thunder and lightning happening every once in a while.
The darkness is obviously being used to create an air of mystery…
…because this is the room where the Beast’s enchanted rose is being kept.
This is modeled after the forbidden part of the castle in the movie.
Finally, we have the Rose Gallery.
This is a more light and airy room with some romantic artwork depicting Belle and the Beast’s love story.
The center of the room is like a large music box that spins around.
Here’s another look at the seating in here.
The seating includes some standard tables and ornate wooden chairs.
There’s a little bit of candlelight and a pop of red from the napkins on the table.
Menu
You get a physical menu here, which we’ll break down for you in just a minute! The overall cost for your meal here is $70 per adult and $41 per child, before tax and gratuity.
You also might be handed a special menu in here — ours included the Steak Frites.
For appetizers, you can choose between the French Onion Soup, Tuna Tartare, Sweet Corn Bisque, Mixed Greens Salad, and Escargot de Bourgogne.

Food
To start your meal, your table is brought a large baguette with an herb butter.
What beats fresh bread with a nice butter? Nothing!
For our appetizer, we go the French Onion Soup. This comes au gratin with gruyere cheese on top.
The soup is fantastic! It has a very pronounced onion flavor and was seasoned well.
The layer of broiled cheese on top is thick and went perfectly with the soup.
And, in the bottom of the soup bowl, there were some croutons that added some nice texture.
We also dipped some of our baguette in the soup, which was delightful!
For our entree, we got the Grilled Filet Mignon. This comes with smashed potatoes, haricots verts, and sauce au poivre.
This was delicious! We ordered our filet to be cooked medium and it was perfect. The meat was tender and seasoned well.
The potatoes were fantastic as well. These are like mashed potatoes with the skins mixed in.
The haricots verts (AKA French green beans) were fresh and seasoned nicely.
The sauce was very herbal and had a strong butter taste to it that went well with everything. We highly recommend this dish!
For dessert, we got the Dessert Trio. This has a chocolate tart, dark chocolate truffle, and a lemon jam macaron.
The chocolate tart features the famous Grey Stuff that you hear Lumière sing about in Beauty and the Beast. It’s basically a whipped cookies and cream situation!
It’s a very cute dessert with the white chocolate Chip on top. The flavor is good and the crust of the tart, along with the crispy pearls, are some nice textural elements.
The dark chocolate truffle is very rich but the raspberry on the bottom cuts through that a little. There is some Grand Marnier involved too but there’s no strong alcohol flavor.
The nuts on top add a nice crunch!
Finally, the lemon jam macaron is very sweet and kind of tastes like strawberry lemonade! It’s a perfect refreshing element to this otherwise chocolatey plate.
Beast Meet & Greet
About every 30 minutes, an announcement will be made that the Beast is walking through the restaurant. You can take photos of him as he’s walking by, but you can’t meet him just yet.
This only happens in the ballroom — not the other two dining rooms.
Once you finish your meal, you’re then invited to meet Beast in his study.
Here he is!
You will get an autographed card before meeting him!
Then, you will get to say hi and take your picture with Beast. This is really the only place you can meet him in the parks!
The price is pretty high at Be Our Guest, but if you want to have a decent meal in an immersive environment and meet the Beast, this could be worth it for you! We did really enjoy all of our food and the ambiance is fun if you’re a big Beauty and the Beast fan.
Stay tuned for more Disney World news and updates!
