PHOTOS: Memorial Day Decor Arrives at Magic Kingdom
As Memorial Day quickly approaches, Disney is gearing up for high temperatures, summer vibes, and naturally, an influx of holiday crowds.
On a recent visit to Magic Kingdom, our team spotted a patriotic display of American flag banners adorning several locations on Main Street, U.S.A.
Let’s check it out!
Patriotic Decor Arrives in Magic Kingdom
Upon entering Magic Kingdom, guests are greeted by patriotic decor at the Walt Disney World Railroad train station and around the park’s entrance loop.
We love seeing the stars and stripes before even setting foot inside the park!
The Chamber of Commerce sports a pair of red, white, and blue banners.
Meanwhile, Town Square Theater — home to Master Magician Mickey Mouse — is also draped in patriotic finery.
The decor continues throughout the park’s entrance loop. Flags decorate the Main Street, U.S.A. Fire Station…
…as well as the Main Street Confectionery, where guests can indulge in all manner of sweet treats.
Across the way at the Emporium, star-spangled bunting hangs along the roofline.
The merchandise mega-store also features some patriotic merchandise in the store windows.
The window showcases a patriotic Loungefly mini backpack, along with a pair of red, white, and blue Minnie ears, and other Americana-inspired merchandise.
Meanwhile, the rest of Main Street, U.S.A. is essentially bare.
For now, the patriotic decor is limited to the park’s entrance loop.
As Memorial Day draws closer, we expect to see even more patriotic decor on Main Street, U.S.A.!
